Genesis 12:1-3 King James Version
1Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Why should we bless the nation of Israel and the Jewish people?
Because God made a physical covenant with Abraham, it also is passed down to his seed, Isaac, Jacob and their offspring and it is a promise that God has actively keep throughout history. It is no wonder that the Jews have survive all calamities and persecutions that has been done to them throughout all generations and will continue to live on even through the Great Tribulation.
There are many empires that ruled over, mistreated and persecuted the Jews in the past but where are they now? Ancient Kingdom of Egypt, Babylon, Persia, Greece, even the Roman Empire, they’ve all fallen.
God in the Old Testament warned those who will curse the children of Israel as we read in the book of Numbers where the Moabites hired Balaam to cast a curse on the children of Israel to overcome and to drive them out of their lands.
Numbers 22:9-12 King James Version
9 And God came unto Balaam, and said, What men are these with thee?
10 And Balaam said unto God, Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, hath sent unto me, saying,
11 Behold, there is a people come out of Egypt, which covereth the face of the earth: come now, curse me them; peradventure I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out.
12 And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed.
But Balaam didn’t heed God’s warning, so God made a stumbling block
Numbers 22:22,25,27 King James Version
22 And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the Lord stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him.
25 And when the ass saw the angel of the Lord, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he smote her again.
27 And when the ass saw the angel of the Lord, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff.
In the succeeding chapter, we see that Balaam instead of cursing the children of Israel, he blessed them
Numbers 23:4-8 King James Version
4 And God met Balaam: and he said unto him, I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon every altar a bullock and a ram.
5 And the Lord put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus thou shalt speak.
6 And he returned unto him, and, lo, he stood by his burnt sacrifice, he, and all the princes of Moab.
7 And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel.
8 How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the Lord hath not defied?
9 For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
10 Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!
11 And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.
If you want God to bless your life then bless His people.
Blessing Israel does not mean indiscriminately supporting them without question, God is still in the business of punishing sins. Like in the book of Exodus where the children of Israel were punished for worshipping the golden calf and every time they worshipped pagan gods, we should never support sinful actions.
Blessing Israel means praying for Israel and the Jewish people to turn to Jesus Christ for Salvation, speaking well towards the people, supporting the nation of Israel’s right to exist and sharing the Gospel to them.
Also towards the end of the Great Tribulation when Jesus Christ returns before He set up His Millenium Reign He will judge all the nations and divide the good (sheep) from the bad (goat), the good people are those who helped the Jewish people and did not take the mark of the beast.
Matthew 25:31-41 King James Version
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Even though the Jews had rejected Christ, God will not abandon them and will still redeem them in the end.
Isaiah 54:5-8 King James Version
5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

Psalm 130:7-8 King James Version
7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
