There are 2 developing news regarding the Bible recently in the US, one good and one bad, here’s the good news.

Oklahoma Superintendent Ryan Walters orders schools to teach the Bible
Oklahoma will require schools to teach the Bible and have a copy in every classroom, the state’s top education official announced Thursday.
Effective immediately, Oklahoma schools are required to incorporate the Bible as part of the curricula in grades five through 12, according to a memo Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters sent to all school districts. Schools are instructed to refer to the Bible and the Ten Commandments for their “substantial influence on our nation’s founders and the foundational principles of our Constitution.”
“Immediate and strict compliance is expected,” the memo noted.
Walters said at a state Board of Education meeting Thursday, “We’ll be teaching from the Bible in the classroom to ensure that this historical understanding is there for every student in the state of Oklahoma.”
Walters, a former high school history teacher, has built a national profile over his first year and a half in office as a staunch proponent of incorporating Christian beliefs and teachings into state education policy.
Gov. Kevin Stitt, a Republican, recently approved a package of regulations put forward by Walters that included time for prayer in schools and expanded the state Education Department’s “foundational values” to acknowledge a “Creator” and the existence of good and evil.

When most children go to a public or non-religious school, what do they usually learn? They learn things in a humanistic and worldly view. These children were taught that from nothing it suddenly exploded, and from that explosion every matter in the universe was created, the world is billions of years old, and we are descendants from apes through evolution, also US colleges now offer radical courses on witchcraft and divination. Do parents even know that their children are being taught by these kinds of people below?
The educational system are turning children into atheists and morally fluid people (where their sense of morality is based solely on their own feelings / opinions / “might is right” or “herd mentality”).
Is it any wonder why violence and mass shooting at school are at all time high when they focus more on man’s worldly view rather than God’s word, the Holy Bible - AV1611 KJV.
This coincides with the decline in Church attendance

You would notice the decline in Church attendance started in the 60s-70s, which eventually caused the spike in mass school shooting starting in the 80s, and another decline in 90s and continuing to drop until today., which caused a steep rise in school shooting incidents Both the mass school shootings and Church attendance charts have an inverse relationship with each other. Makes you wonder if children go to Church more often we could probably see a decline in school violence.
This is where the secular educational system fails and had led many children go astray, where they believe man’s fallible words rather than God’s infallible words. No matter how many gun ban laws they passed, they will never fix the issue, because the educational foundation in built on faulty, secular, atheistic world view and not God’s infallible words.
In God’s eyes, no matter how much these students study about man’s secular world view they are still regarded as fools.
Romans 1:22-25 King James Version

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

All these senseless violence and hatred could have been prevented if they could have gone to a Bible school or at least read and study the Bible, not only will they learn the word of God and create their life’s foundation around it, but also give their life meaning and purpose.
All worldly knowledge are vanity and only causes grief and sorrow says King Solomon, the wisest and wealthiest king that ever lived.
Ecclesiastes 1:12-18 King James Version
12 I the Preacher was king over Israel in Jerusalem.
13 And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.
14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
15 That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.
16 I communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge.
17 And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.
18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.
A great example to go by is Timothy where Paul is commending him, his mother and grandmother that kept the faith and had taught Timothy in his childhood the Holy Scriptures and Timothy kept the things he was taught unto his adulthood, serving the Lord and bearing good fruits for Him.
2 Timothy 1:1-6 King James Version
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

4 Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;

Continuing Paul’s letter to Timothy in chapter 3
2 Timothy 3:14-17 King James Version
14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
To be a good Christian, be like Timothy, grounded in Faith (Colossians 1:23), studying the Bible using sound doctrine (2 Timothy 2:15), be a good example to people and not be a burden to society (Titus 2:7) and spread the saving Gospel, leading souls to Christ (2 Timothy 4:2).
Since we are now living in a period of apostasy here’s the bad news.

Republicans Voting for Bill That Could Make 'Bible Illegal' Outrages MAGA
Congress on Wednesday passed the bill (HR 6090), which would require the Department of Education to use the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism when enforcing anti-discrimination laws. It comes as colleges across the United States have seen pro-Palestinian protests that critics say at times have allegedly veered into antisemitism.
"Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities," the definition reads.
The bill drew bipartisan criticism, with both Democrats and Republicans voting against it. Critics argue the bill, if signed into law, stifles free speech that is protected by the U.S. Constitution and is overly broad in its definition of antisemitism, pointing to the definition including "claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor."
Ultimately, 91 members of Congress voted against it.
Some conservatives are taking issue with the bill over the IHRA definition of antisemitism including "claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel," arguing that it could mean that parts of the Bible would now become "illegal."
